Tuna-inspired Haiku

What an awe-inspiring scene, to watch from our balcony the proof of the bounty of the sea.Tuna is one of the most common fishes around the island we live in that supports the livelihood of fisherfolks and market vendors. The island people including us, is so blessed to enjoy its umami freshness and gain from its anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant and cardiovascular health benefits.

This scene inspired this haiku too:

Sparkling surface,
Sun-kissed diamonds breaking,
Fishes are shoaling.

Waves crashing on shore,
School of tuna jumping,
Fishing boats chasing.

Exciting drama,
Of survival and living,
Beauty that's fleeting.
